JR09 is specifically designed for aerosol fire suppression system. It employs an independent Lithium-ion battery which consumes zero power when at standby status. It avoids being disturbed from voltage fluctuations and electromagnetic interference, ensuring the reliability as well as stability of the device operation. It uses a storage circuit with a boost converter to ensure the successful actuation of the system. It can not only be used with conventional gas fire suppression controllers, but also can be used with linear heat cable, JR11 and manual control system as an independent detection & Control unit, the JR09 makes the linked ignition of multi fire suppression devices realization easily, and unlimited cascade suppression system is achievable. There are multiple indicator lights on the panel for battery level, igniter circuit status and HV circuit, Non-polar circuit is adopted for all connection terminals to prevent any wiring problem.

  1. For one unit: wiring as per instructions on front and back panels of JR09; terminals (3,4) under “24V” shall be connected to the controller output socket; heat sensitive cable and manual switch cable shall be connected to terminals (5,6) under “Detection”; controller shall be connected to terminals (1,2) under “FeedBack”. Place the alarm to “alarm on” (versus “alarm off”); press “Test” to check all indicator lights work properly. The actuation box will then be under “standby” status.
  2. Linkage function – Either used alone or in cascade combination (Signals can only be transmitted from upstream units to downstream units) linked ignition (All fire suppression devices will be activated if anyone of them get triggered)
